is FREE!
However,
if you have the financial wherewithal,
we encourage you to choose a paid membership.

As
a member of The Campaign, you will have
instant access to the information and
tools you need to stay informed, network
with others, do research and take action.
Joining
is simple and quick
When
you join The Campaign, you will be asked
to select a Login Name and Password. The
Login Name is the same as the User Name
that identifies you if you decide to post
comments in the Member
Forums.
The
only personal information we require when
you join is your name and e-mail address.
After you submit the simple online application,
you will be sent a verification e-mail
that asks you to confirm that you wish
to join The Campaign. (This confirmation
steps helps make sure only people who
want to be members get added to the membership
data.)
Optional
Information
Although
your address and phone number are optional
fields in the online membership application,
you are encouraged to provide them. In
particular, we suggest you supply your
zip code for geographic reference purposes
so that we can keep you informed about
any events in your locality. Without a
zip code, we have no way to associate
you with your corresponding city or state.
Note:
Although contact information is not required
for membership in The Campaign, if you
select a paid membership, during the online
payment process you will need to provide
the billing address associated with your
credit card.
Renewals
and Changes
Your
membership is for one year. You can renew
your membership, upgrade your membership,
and/or easily change your Login Name or
Password and other contact information
at The
Campaign Membership Center.

Members
Only
All members of The Campaign receive access
to the "Members Only" section
of the web site. Here you have access
to discounts on Take Action Packets, news
feeds on 16 health, environment and food
related topics, and four news feeds about
genetically engineered foods.
The
Campaign Forums
Further,
your membership automatically registers
you in The Campaign Forums. As a registered
member, you can post to any of the Member
Forums. You can also subscribe to any
of the Forums or the individual threads
of discussion. You can elect to have posts
come to you immediately, once a day or
once a week. The News Forums are especially
good to consider subscribing to once you
become a member.
Access
to the News
So as a member of The Campaign, you can
choose to have news delivered to you through
subscriptions to the News Forums. And
if you want to stay even more informed,
in the Members Only area, you have access
to 20 news feeds!
E-Mail
Newsletter Subscription
When you join The Campaign as a FREE or
paid member, you will automatically be
subscribed to our newsletter list to receive
The Campaign Reporter and occasional special
announcements. Naturally you can easily
unsubscribe if
you do not want to receive our e-mails.
However, receiving The Campaign Reporter
once a month will be one of the best and
easiest ways to keep up on the major events
and developments involving genetically
engineered foods.
If you provide your zip code when you
sign up, we will also be able to notify
you by e-mail of special events and activities
that may be taking place in your city
or state.
"ACTION ALERT" E-Mail
List
The Campaign occassionaly issues
e-mail ACTION ALERTS. These alerts allow
you to send instant e-mails to members
of Congress, government officials, the
media, politicians and corporate leaders.
These alerts are powered by the
Capitol Advantage "CapWiz" system.
Since CapWiz runs on the Capital Advantage
server rather than The Campaign's server,
it has a separate database and therefore
requires a separate registration. All
members of The Campaign are encouraged
to sign
up to receive our e-mail ACTION ALERTS.
